Jenny is Korean, with deep roots in Australia and New Zealand — she earned her Master's in Linguistics at UNSW (Sydney, Australia) and now leads legal-advisory consulting in Korea. She founded Teacher Korea Consulting to bridge the gap between foreign teachers and Korean schools with integrity and expertise.
She is also a former director (원장) of a well-known franchise language academy in Korea — which means she understands from the inside how good schools operate, and where teachers get taken advantage of.

Yes. An English teaching certificate — such as TEFL, TESOL, TOEFL, or Level 5 qualification — is required for the E-2 visa in South Korea. You can earn one online or in-country before applying. Accredited programs include: TQUK Level 5, TEFL.com, Cambridge CELTA (premium), or equivalent organizations recognized by the Korean Ministry of Education.
